    Paul Creager

    Paul Creager, was a 1957 graduate of Barberton High School and a 1961 graduate of Wittenberg University.
    At BHS, Paul was a three year letterman in football earning the following awards: 1955 BHS Best Defensive Lineman; 1956 Best Offensive Lineman; 1956 FB Co-Captain.
    Paul also earned three letters in track and basketball. At Wittenberg University, Paul earned four letters as a four year starter at offensive tackle.
    He played on the 1957 and 1958 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Teams.
    The 1958 Team was undefeated (9-0) and the Tigers were 29-6 during Paul’s career. In track, he eamed three letters participating in the shot-put and javelin.
    Following graduation, Paul coached football and track at Springfield Shawnee High School from 1961-64. After leaving coaching and teaching,he held various positions from 1964 to 1991, ending his career as an independent electrical contractor.
    His widow, Carolyn, lives in Georgia and will be accepting the honor for Paul. Their children are Leitha, William and Beth. Paul was nominated by Bob Velloney.
